This AED or automated external defibrillator VR training provides corporate safety teams with the instruction needed to earn first aid certification for delivering cardiac defibrillation. Employees will learn proper automated external defibrillator use. Learners will be required to accurately recognize and respond to a case of cardiac arrest, send someone to call for medical help, work closely alongside a rescuer performing CPR and demonstrate their learning by administering defibrillation to a patient’s heart until help arrives.
COURSE OBJECTIVES

- Identify Ventricular Fibrillation: Rapidly recognize the clinical signs of sudden cardiac arrest and distinguish it from general unresponsiveness.
- Command Emergency Scenes: Delegate critical tasks under pressure, including instructing specific bystanders to call emergency services and fetch medical gear.
- Synchronize with CPR Cycles: Seamlessly manage and time resuscitation efforts alongside a colleague who is performing active chest compressions.
- Deploy an AED Safely: Locate, open, and power on the defibrillator, correctly positioning the electrode pads on a victim’s bare chest.
- Deliver Controlled Shocks: Safely clear the area to ensure no one is touching the victim before activating the electrical charge, then immediately signal for CPR to resume
